The Yes Diet FAQ's

WEIGHT LOSS

  • How much weight will I lose per week? Anywhere from 1-5lb depending on hormones, sleep, alcohol intake, salt intake, stress and toilet usage.
  • Will I permanently lose scale weight? You can lose body fat without losing scale weight. Please take body measurements and photos to stay on track.
  • How long can I use The Yes Diet to lose weight? Forever if you wanted to. This diet plan does not expire.
  • What if I don't have much weight to lose? Your Top Up Calories will reflect this, and this means you'll be on the diet for less time.
  • Will I lose weight? If you follow this plan correctly, you will consistently lose body fat.
  • What if I'm not losing body fat on this plan? You are doing the plan wrong, please re-read the plans how to section. 
  • Do I eat calories burned through exercise? No, this has already been calculated for your weekly deficit. Eating calories burned will take you out of your calorie deficit. 

USING THE FLIPBOOK

  • Can I save the flipbook? Yes, follow the instructions on your device to save to file. This will differ for all devices, and the how-to can be found on your chosen search engine.
  • Can I print the flipbook at home? Yes, follow the above instructions. 

PLATES

  • How many Plates do I eat per day? 3.
  • How many Plates do I eat per week? 21.
  • How many Power Plates do I eat per week? These must make up at least 15 of your 21 weekly Plates.
  • How many Pleasure Plates per week? These need to make up a maximum of 6 of your 21 Plates per week.
  • What is the calorie breakdown of each Plate? All breakfasts are 300 calories, all lunches are 400 calories, and all dinners are 500 calories for both Pleasure and Power Plates.
  • Can I swap Plates from the plan for my own recipes? Yes as long as the calorie amount matches the Plate calorie template above. 
  • What if my own recipe is under 400 calories for a lunch? Then use the difference for extra Top-Up Calories. For example, lunch is 340 calories, you'll then have an additional 60 TUCs that day.
  • What if my own recipe is over 400 calories for a lunch? Then you will need to use your TUCs. For example, lunch is 525 calories, you'll need to take 125 calories from your TUCs that day.
  • Can I add extra vegetables to Plates? Yes, ensure you count these in your TUCs. 

TOP-UP CALORIES

  • How do I calculate TUCs? On our website, use our free calorie calculator.
  • My TUCs seem high, is this right? Yes, trust the process. This diet is not designed to make you hungry.
  • Can I add extra veggies or sides to Plates? Yes, this will need to be deducted from your Top Up Calories.
  • Do I need to count drinks in my TUCs? Yes. Unless they have zero calories.
  • Do I need to count extra herbs and spices added in my TUCs? No, herbs and spices are calorie free.
  • Can I save TUCs for the weekend? Yes, you do not have to use your daily TUCs on one day, you can save them over a few days and use them at once. This is perfect for social events.

COOKING

  • Can I freeze batch-cooked Plates? Yes, please ensure you follow correct freezing and defrosting methods to ensure great food safety. This is the user's responsibility. 
  • Can I make the batch cook Plates to feed 1 person instead? Yes, divide the ingredients recipe by the number of servings it gives.

DIETARY + LIFESTYLE NEEDS

  • What if I have certain dietary requirements? All Plates are coded with vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free and low-sugar codes. 
  • What if I have PCOS or any hormone related issues? Use the low-sugar Plate code.
  • Can I use The Yes Diet whilst breastfeeding? Yes. You will need to add 500 TUCs per day to balance the energy used during breastfeeding. This is important for both you and your baby/babies.

PAYMENT

  • Is it one-time payment? Yes, a £35 one-time payment.
  • Can I pay monthly? Yes, we offer Klarna + Clear Pay at checkout.
  • Can this be returned? No, all sales are final, which is inline with current digital product consumer laws.
